March 23, 2010 at 16.30 the regular meeting of the joint interdisciplinary seminar Leontief Centre, Sociological Institute, State University - Higher School of Economics and Economics and Mathematics Institute, RAS was held.
The report Paradoxes of the Global Crisis was made by Dmitry Shuster, managing director of investment bank Credit Agricole CIB. The report is less a presentation of his book as an attempt to give a new streamlined look to the global crisis - with the evidence and explain the behavior of the main agents.
Questions and comments were made L. Savulkin, D. Kadochnikov, L. Limonov, P. Usanov, P. Grebennikov., A. Zaostrovtsev.
The next meeting of the seminar will be held on April 6, 2010. The report Successes and Failures of the State Statistics of Russia will speak I. Eliseeva, Corresponding Member of RAS, Director of the Sociology Institute of RAS.
