On April 19, Leontief Centre held a scientific seminar on "Regional Economic Analysis and Diagnostics", performed by LC using Endowment Fund means.
Seminar was held with the participation of the scientific head of the Centre, Dr. S. Vasilyev, in his work was attended by Leontief Centre researchers and experts. On the seminar heard reports of the leading performers of research in two areas:
1. Models and methods of regional economic analysis. Applied research on urban and regional economy.
2. Economic policy on the subfederal level in times of crisis (for example, the Northwestern Federal District).
It has been a discussion of the preliminary results, as well as plans for further work in 2010-2011.
It was made a decision to hear the results of research on the direction of “Institutional Aspects of the Spatial Development of Russia” in the next Research Seminar.
